The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency reported it really is alarmed in regards to the substantial variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The purpose with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area each day. The services stage developed for intervention experiences a significant influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for the Workplace to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra sources to help the servicing of all buyers and increase usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
